Something beautiful and something yummy!

Here is the gorgeous sunset we had here in Birmingham...

I used to not like banana bread much, but now I have a recipe that is wonderful.
Here are the pictures of the yummy banana bread I made tonight...

Lee Ann- I make the bread a lot myself! Yours looks so yummy, and it always tastes so great right out of the oven. Did you know that you can sub mini chocolate chips instead of nuts? You just have to be a litle careful getting it out of the pan, as they have a tendency to stick to the bottom a bit. As a matter of fact, I just made two breads myself friday night.

Loved the pictures of the sunsets, I'm a sucker for them!

Bread? Banana bread? Mnnn. Always like the photies of Birmingham Al., since the ones from the sixties are burned into our brains here. First telly satellites and what we got was race fights and Vietnam. You do the town good by posting nice photies!! Hotboy

Bread is good, but cake is better.

It's Peanut Butter Jelly Time!

Sassy ~ Oh, I had a little piece last night. It is so good. I wish I could send you some ;)

Henri ~ I love sunsets, I think that is my favorite thing. I keep taking pictures of the sunsets everytime I see a good one. The only problem is that it is usually from my terrace, so it is all the same view point! The bread is wonderful ;)

Jiggs ~ What is your favorite type of bread, if I could make it I would send it to you;)

Ellen ~ I have had chocolate chips in homemade bread (not sure if it was banana bread or not)...it's wonderful, but I know what you mean about hot and sticking to the bottom! I do love the sunsets most!

Andy ~ That sounds like a wonderful time....wish it could be.

Chuck ~ Well, that is so nice of you to offer. I look forward to when you do;)

Hotboy ~ I guess I will have to post more pictures to get those visions out of your head. It is really beautiful here. Thank you Hotboy.

Spinning ~ Your baking always makes me hungry for what you make. All of those good pies and chili. I think I am going to make some chili today. I do love seeing the sunrises too, I look forward to seeing one of yours.

Gyro ~ Cake is yummy. I used to love it even more than I do now. A really good moist cake is wonderful though.

If you got any of that banana bread left over ... just sayin. Kalani has been eating mint chocolate chip ice cream for breakfast and I have a huge pot of chili on the stove. We all should get together and party!

Bopp ~ Cool, I will bring something you will like!

TG ~ Oh, doesn't that sound fun. That would be awesome. I also have a big pot of chili on the stove. It smells so good. Sounds like a great little get together to me.

Jef ~ Oh, sorry Jef! Pizza sounds good. Too bad you can't be here for the homemade chili!

Looks good. And it just so happens that I have three very ripe bananas just waiting to become bread! And look! Are those lemmons in the fridge? Yummm

Mike ~ I have plenty, I would be glad to share. Although, you need to do something with those ripe bananas. You can make the bread or some yummy banana pudding. Haha, I told someone, I love banana pudding without the bananas! However, I did have some recently that was wonderful. Enjoy!

That looks gorgeous. I want to come over for tea.

(Do you do tea over there... possibly not. I'll take dinner, though.)

Lee Ann said...

wd ~ I can make tea for you, but it is not the same as it is there. It would be great if you could come for tea or dinner. Tonight is homemade chili.
