This is an almost hidden path just around the corner of my "castle".
I was very intrigued every day when I passed it.
Finally one day, I stopped to see what is hidden
beyond the entrance of this path.
It is interesting because the path leads to an almost manicured looking area that seems perfect for a picnic.
The path and the grassy area always appear to be mowed.
It sits in the middle of the thick woods.
It is very cool and shady, even in the midst of summer.
My curious nature has been satisfied.
I thought I would share it with you.
p.s. I know I have not been a good blogger friend lately. I have not forgotten about any of you. I appreciate your visits and I promise to get back over to your place soon. I think I am ready for a little break, but I "will be back" as Arnold says.
Feel free to leave any comments or questions while I am vacationing.
See you all shortly.
Love you all,
Lee Ann

Nice picture. Very peaceful.
Heck, I took almost 16 months off. Take as much time as you need, and enjoy your rest. We'll see you when you get back.
Ima wait till the end of time for you to return ... you are an awesome blogger friend, and all of your readers know that! Everyone needs a break, a change of scenery, a toke of some of the good doobage now and then (I'm not suggesting you get into drugs) ... and besides all that, you are SMART, WITTY, BEAUTIFUL, AND FUN!!
Peace and hugs to you Babygirl!

Go roll around in the green grass!!!
Enjoy your break! :)
Sounds like a perfect little place on the palace grounds!
Don't stay away too long!
There's a hidden spot like that in the Botanical Gardens in Edinburgh which I've often meditated in. Secret places are great to visit.Have a great holiday. Hotboy
Is there any truth in the rumour that the "holiday" is actually a trip to Edinburgh for the bloggers' conference in July?
A little "secret garden" is a lovely thing to have. Cheers!
That does look quite inviting :)
I say!
It looks like an elephant path, to me.
Are you also attending the Duneditin conference?
MMIII
That's cool always fun to find nice surprises
Have a good time.
Nice picture -- makes me homesick as it reminds me of the area I used to live....
It's really easy to be neglectful of your blog. Granted I always have to check up on my own, but as for everyone elses it's hard to find the time.
I see a trend during the spring of blog neglect I thought I was the only one but there has been a lot of people who are taking it easy for awhile, myself included. Cheers JW
I think you should pack a beautiful picnic and go to that little glade with a blanket and a great book.
picnics are the motherfucking bomb!
Hidden paths are awesome. I live less than a block from a nature trail, and it's full of excellent spots to have picnics.

Lee Ann: NO WORRIES! I try once a month to go from A-L one day on my blogroll to visit all my friends. Then the next day, it's L-Z. Well, A-L was finished about 2 weeks ago. So, there you have it and lots of (((HUGS))) for being so cool! :)
Cool picture. I love picnics
yeah, cool photo. I have places like that on my list. It's interesting what you can find when you make the time to stop and look...
A picnic with Lee Ann!!!!!! You are so cool. Take a breather. xoxo! :)
I wonder if it's infested with ticks or something...
Leave it to me to break the mood of the peaceful clearing.
Hey, get back to blogging, dang it! Don't you know it's all about me?
