The good and the bad...

PRIDE

It can stand in the way of good things in life.

It is one of those rare things that too much of it is not a good thing.
One should definitely have it, but should also know how to use it.
Humility can be a good thing.
Respect, love and friendship, among other things, can be gained if one can accomplish the balance.

Pride is a good ingredient if used in moderation. One needs a good Humility to Pride ratio.

Hi Lee. I can't figure out why my last posting was "Anaonymous", and this blog supposedly won't accept anonymous messages.

How as your vacation? Do tell!

I have to learn to swallow my pride now that I have someone living with me.. it's a challenge, but with love and respect, and the right perspective, I will learn that change can be good :)

Could you be really, really proud of being humble? I don't see how that works! Hotboy

So true about the balance.

When I was younger I had almost no pride. Some days now I even have a little too much. But I deserve it. haha!
