The razor took a swim!

DAAANNNGGG!
Ugh....I am so aggravated!
Last night I dropped my phone.
I dropped my Motorola Razor.
I dropped it into WATER!
The toilet to be exact. It hit the rim, broke apart and dove into the bowl!
At least it was clean water!

Now, it doesn't work. (hmmm, oh really!?!?)
The worst part is that I have lost all of my ring tones, phone numbers and pictures.
Waaaaaaaawaaaaaaawaaaaaaaaa.
Thank goodness I still have a decent phone that I was able to put my SIMs card into.

The one on the left is my old phone....the one on the right is my dead phone! :(

**IMPORTANT** Those of you that I had your number

....I need it again.

You can leave it here (haha), call me, email it or text it.

....waiting to hear from you!

Have a good day!

Character is higher than intellect. A great soul will be strong to live as well as think.

Underwater post office

This was found in Gadling the Traveler's weblog
Underwater Post Offices and Mailboxes Around the World

Underwater post office with the proliferation of WiFi and cell phones, does anybody mail postcards or "real letters" anymore?
Well, I have to admit, I do "write" a real letter or post card every now and then, right "M"?
If you are one of those people that love to get snail mail from a friend or send it, there is a unique place you can send it from.

1. Vanuatu Post created the world's first Underwater Post Office. Situated within a marine sanctuary off Hideaway Island, this Post Office, staffed by a postal employee, can receive mail if you are a visiting diver or snorkeler. The best part? The lines are always short.

2. On Japan's southeastern coast, there's a mailbox 33 feet beneath the water -- the deepest mailbox on record. Each day, the contents are collected from the box, which reportedly contains as many as 200 pieces of mail. Conveniently, the group who developed this post office also invented Surumail: edible, squid-flavored postcards.

3. Malaysia's Reef Dive Resort has set up what it believes to be that country's first underwater mailbox. Any mail sent through this mailbox is sealed inside a plastic bag and postmarked with a special stamp.

4. St. Thomas, USVI, has an underwater post office inside its Underwater Observatory, which means you can get the "underwater stamp" without getting "underwater wet."

5. Paradise Island, in the Bahamas, boasts an underwater mailbox adjacent to a spiraling 100-foot tower.

How cool is that?
Let me know if any of you have had the opportunity to visit one of these underwater post offices.

Have a wonderful day!

What's happening?

Here are the things I ran across last night. These are the things happening in blogland. There is something from each of your blogs, can you find what is happening on yours?

We ate leftovers, while signing L O V E in sign language.

We yawned like animals and kept ourselves going strong in Iraq.

We critiqued movies until we walked out, while Mexico did that with the Summer Olympics?

People are inherently good, but they sure don't like to get a traffic ticket while in Texas.

We worked hard editing a movie and produced a previous hot picture of ourself.

We bought some new shoes and decided we liked strawberry cake, with strawberry icing.

We hung out with a bong while experimenting with new formats.

We gave rules about hanging out in bars and talked about the fans that hang out watching basketball.

We talked about the people that talk on the radio for a living (or not anymore) and gathered for a big motorcycle run.

We got into a sucky situation with the US Mint before we put a search out for new band members.

We met her mother at a barbeque and continue to try to teach children to live life.

Sheryl Crow wants to be more environmentally aware by only using one square (of toilet paper), as we try to figure out which message we will use on the answering machine when you call.

A close up of some turf makes our eyes cross, while we realize someone's name gets edited out of a movie.

The travels of a certain well known Roscoe wishes he could be driving with him, I mean her!

We are praying for her brother-in-law then we have to eat some comfort food.

A little homemade brew might be what we need while we sit back and enjoy some Monday music after getting back from a fantastic vacation.

We have gotten too busy to post because we have been travelling with our relatively new job and also work very hard on our music.

We moved from our old place to our new place, thanks to him; and we ponder the thought of taking care of babies and keeping pace then decide to meditate.

Fission becomes an issue as does the split decision on who will be the next American Idol.

We take a blogging break to do a little curling which is something Britney cannot do with her hair anylonger.

Hamburger meat was recalled - a year ago...but we want to go to Disney World.

More worries about guns becoming a threat so let's see what the 8 ball says.

Ahhh, time to get a little peace in life and relax with her kids over the weekend.

She would have been a pretty princess, but they all went to a bar to watch a band.

He did not have a child with Britney, but she is going crazy buying wigs.

The world looks beautiful and peaceful from afar, and he is too busy working with his new radio station to stop over.

He stops in from time to time visiting from the other side of the pond, and misses someone so very much; but we are still awaiting who will be named intern of the campaign.

We are reminded to LOOK UP sometimes...reach for the stars, but sometimes you just have to let the cute pup off the leash and have fun.

If you are good with your words, they fall into place.

Thank you all for the entertainment!
Have a good day!

Some Random Stuff I Saw!

I saw the plate in the first picture last week. It belongs to a yellow Hummer. *giggle*
What do you think it means?

I saw the plate in this second picture a few days ago.
Do you think they are friends?

Even though I have been plagued with a bad headache for the last couple of weeks, I have been working out as normal. Maybe it will help the headache go away....eventually.

After the workout, I was going to my car and noticed something on the pavement. I looked closer and discovered it was a penny. It looked a little flat and strange, so I looked closer and touched it. It was embedded in the pavement. I took these two pictures of it with my cell phone. I wish I could have captured it's true appearance. It was shiny, but black and flat.

What odd thing have you seen lately?
So, any ideas what those plates mean?

Have a good Monday!

Ugh...HeadACHE!

I have had a bit of a bad headache everyday for a couple of weeks.
So, I have been reflecting back to see if I have been doing anything different lately.
Well, something came to mind.
For the past two weeks, I have been drinking water instead of soda (Mt.Dew).
**I mentioned before that I am addicted to Mt. Dew and I am trying to cut back.
Half of the time, I put Crystal Light flavoring (ummm...tastes so good) in my water (which is sugar free).
It has aspartame, which is the sweetener they use instead of sugar.

When I used to drink a lot of diet cokes I got headaches – BAD.
Diet cokes have aspartame too.

I did a little research. Click on the picture to see what I found.

That is pretty incredible, huh!?!

I guess I cannot tolerate the aspartame.

Have a good day!
~xo

**Oh, will you please dim the lights on your way out? The dim lights help with the headache...
Or, you can just sit and make yourself at home. There is plenty to read in the Great Chamber.

A Little Insight Into Me From My Interview

One of my blogger friends, Carl Spackler, has been missing in action. I miss him. He was one of my first blogger friends. The last time Carl came to Birmingham, he interviewed me. For those of you that have not seen it before, I am going to share it with you.

Carl's Interview With Lee Ann...

Recently I was down in Birmingham AL on FTMOCS business. I had the opportunity to catch up with Lee Ann for lunch. Here is some of the Q&A....not to be confused with the T&A.

Carl: In a previous post you mentioned you almost died 3 times in car accidents...can you tell us about that again and what, if anything, you have learned from those 3 crazy incidents?
Lee Ann: Well, I didn't actually almost die in those three accidents. It was a true story of how I had been in 3 accidents, and all of them involved me being hit by drunk drivers. 3 accidents ~ 3 drunk drivers. I was very lucky, which in turn made the 3 drunk drivers very lucky. My lesson learned ~ It would not be worth the drinks, to hurt someone very badly or even kill them.
Don't drink and drive.

Carl: What would be your perfect date?
Lee Ann: In the not too distant past, it would have been ~ grab a burger or pizza, a concert, favorite bar. Now, a nice quiet dinner in a nice restaurant, with a few cocktails, go to the ballet or theatre, then home for some candlelight, a little champagne and strawberries and. (maybe a little whip cream with those strawberries). And uh, well, you can guess the rest.
(Don't get me wrong a night out at the favorite bar/music is still fun, but you did ask what the perfect date would be).

Carl: Give us the low-down on living in Alabama?
Lee Ann: I would not want to live in all areas of Alabama (but I guess it would be the same in every state), but Birmingham is really beautiful. There are rolling hills (almost mountains, in fact, where I live is called over the mountain area). There are four distinct seasons ~ summer, hot enough to rival some of the hottest areas in the US. Fall, is probably my favorite season, the colors of the changing leaves are breathtaking and the cooler temperatures are invigorating. Winter, cold enough to make you want to be inside, but we don't get the beauty of snow very often (usually ice storms). Spring, ahhh, a nice breath of fresh air, green grass, beautiful flowers,
and loads of pollen! Alabama does not have a professional football team, but they don't need one. Alabama has one of the most intense college football rivalries in the US. Joe Namath was once quoted as saying he had never seen nything like the Alabama/Auburn football rivalry anywhere. So during the season, the fans eat, sleep, breathe, live football, the rest of the year they talk, argue, recap and plan for the next season! The south has a reputation for being friendly, I guess that is accurate. All in all, it is a great place to live.

Carl: What do you look for in a significant other?
Lee Ann: Number one thing.he needs to be MALE! I want him to be my best friend, confident' and lover, someone I can relate to and have fun with. MUST be honest, trustworthy, loyal (monogamous), and intelligent. I like the strong male type, but definitely want to see his vulnerable side at times. It doesn't hurt for him to be tall dark and handsome ;) but that is icing on the cake. (That's not asking for too much is it?)

Carl: Burger King or Mcdonalds...you have to choose one!
Lee Ann: McDonalds. I seriously do not eat too much "fast foods" but, I have had my share of McDonalds in the past. I still would on occasion (my old favorite used to be filet of fish (plain) and French fries). That new Burger King, King character with the big freaky head creeps me out.

Carl: Who in bloggerland would you like to meet in person and why?
Lee Ann: Now that is a tough question. Hmmmm, let's see. There is you, Frank and Zuma (the fun party group friends); then there are all those people that hang out with you, that I want to know; Mojo and Echeevo(the other Alabama friends); Hotboy and Robmcj (my friends from Scotland); Spinning Girl and Fred (my teacher friends); Becky and Chris (my friends from your area Carl); BeckEye (friend with the same recurring dream as me); Dave (Radio voiceman
friend); RCS and Zombie(tells it like it is friends); Jef (my buffalo nickel friend); Blake & Midwestern Hick (funny guy friends); Ticharu (free spirit/music ~nature guy friend); Goan Pao, Avik, ilaiy, jiggs, kay ray, justice, madhatter. Oh there is no way I can decide from this group.
Everyone is so unique; it is just too hard to decide.

Carl: Finish this sentence: in a perfect world...
Lee Ann: There would be no war, violence or poverty. People would all live by the simple kindergarten rule we learned. The Golden Rule! Treat everyone as they wish to be treated.

Carl: If Lee Ann had the chance to go back and do things over what would she do differently...if anything?
Lee Ann: I would have gone into a different line of work. Underwriting Insurance is not a dream job.

Carl: You are going out on a Friday night...underwear or no underwear?
Lee Ann: It really just depends on my mood and what I am wearing. Going commando
can be liberating, or simply not having a panty line! (Except for the bra, that is a must).

Carl: Aside from winning the Ronny Award what would you consider your greatest
accomplishment?
Lee Ann: I cannot decide between the time when I was 4 years old or 15 years old. I started swimming on the swim team when I was 4. During swim practice, I would swim on the outside lane so I could stop, grab onto the wall, breathe for a second then swim to the end. One day, my coach put me in the middle lane, and it was the first time I swam the whole length of the pool without stopping ~ the whole team stood there and applauded me. Or, the time I was 15 and placed first in the State for 100 meter butterfly, and during the Southeastern Regional Meet I was in a 6 way tie for first place in the 50 meter freestyle.
Carl, Thank you again for having me here, it is my honor and pleasure as
always. Let's go get a drink!

3 hours go by as Carl and Lee Ann continue to have a liquid lunch...

Lee Ann: I'm really drunk, can you drive me home.
Carl: Absolutley, we don't want you getting into another accident now do we!

Carl and Lee Ann walk outside, Carl signals valet to bring around his Mercedes S L 500

Lee Ann: (with hand on Carl's knee) Thank you so much for driving me home. you are such a great guy. Have you thought about moving the FTMOCS headquarters down to Birmingham?
Carl: Unfortunately for right now its going to stay in Richmond, however, I have a pending engagment with Ambs77, she wants to move to San Diego. So I got that going for me.

Carl Pulls Into Lee Ann's Driveway...Carl notices top 3 buttons on Lee Ann's blouse are undone

Lee Ann: Why don't you come inside...I can make you a sandwich
Carl: Oh I would love to....

Carl's cell phone rings...

Carl: Shit, its Jenn (Anniston). That bitch just won't stop calling me. She always calls at the worst time.
Jenn: (on cell phone talking to Carl) Carl, I really need you right now. Brad and I are having more problems...I'm a wreck. I'm flying to Richmond tonight.
Carl: I'm in the middle of something Jenn, can you call back later.
Jenn: NO...I don't know what I would do if I can't see you.

Carl turns to Lee Ann, puts arm around her

Carl: Lee Ann, I have to go. I need to get back to Richmond asap.
Lee Ann: Why, so you can be with her? I hate that fucking bitch!

Lee Ann storms off, slamming door of Carl's Mercedes

Carl: (talking to self) I wish she would be more careful with the Benz. I love this car.

Carl drives back to airport, returns to FTMOCS headquarters.

What kids SAY about the SEA

1) This is a picture of an octopus. It has eight testicles.
(Kelly age 6)

2) Oysters' balls are called pearls.
(James age 6)

3) If you are surrounded by sea you are an Island. If you don't have sea all round you, you are incontinent.
(Wayne age 7)

4) Sharks are ugly and mean, and have big teeth, just like Emily Richardson. She's not my friend no more.
(Kylie age 6)

5) A dolphin breaths through an asshole on the top of its head.
(Billy age 8)

6) My uncle goes out in his boat with pots, and comes back with crabs.
(Millie age 6)

7) When ships had sails, they used to use the trade winds to cross the ocean. Sometimes, when the wind didn't blow, the sailors would whistle to make the wind come. My brother said they would have been better off eating beans.
(William age 7)

8) I like mermaids. They are beautiful, and I like their shiny tails. And how on earth do mermaids get pregnant? Like, really?
(Helen age 6)

9) I'm not going to write about the sea. My baby brother is always screaming and being sick, my Dad keeps shouting at my Mom, and my big sister has just got pregnant, so I can't think what to write.
(Amy age 6)

10) Some fish are dangerous. Jellyfish can sting. Electric eels can give you a shock. They have to live in caves under the sea where I think they have to plug themselves into chargers.
(Christopher age 7)

11) When you go swimming in the sea, it is very cold, and it makes my willy small.
(Kevin age 6)

12) Divers have to be safe when they go under the water. Two divers can't go down alone, so they have to go down on each other.
(Becky age 8)

13) On holidays my Mom went water skiing. She fell off when she was going very fast. She says she won't do it again because water fired right up her fat butt.
(Jule age 7)

Have a great weekend!
Love you all

Post-it Prank

This looks like the coolest post-it prank!

As far as the photos down below...
Last March, three of us at work did this to my boss' office. We only had about 20 minutes to do it, but we did the best we could. I wish we would have had more time, we could have made it look much better. He was impressed and I think he is still finding a stray post-it every now and then! >;-)

Have any of you done something fun like this?
Have a great day!

My month is September.
Hmmm....hardly shows emotion! That would have to be the furthest thing from what I am. Sometimes I am too emotional for my own good.
Of course I would like to claim all of the things that would reflect nicely upon me.
Don't you think that everyone has all of these qualities? Some are more prevalent than others in each individual, but to an extent we all share some of the same ones.
Anyone else a September baby?
Does the month of your birthday reflect your qualities?

VIAGRA...What would you call it?

In Pharmacology, all drugs have two names, a trade name and generic name.

For example, the trade name of Tylenol also has a generic name of Acetaminophen. Aleve is also called Naproxen.

Amoxil is also called Amoxicillin and Advil is also called Ibuprofen.

The FDA has been looking for a generic name for Viagra.

After careful consideration by a team of government experts, it recently announced that it has settled on the generic name of Mycoxafloppin. Also considered were Mycoxafailin, Mydixadrupin, Mydixarizin, Dixafix, and of course, Ibepokin.

Pfizer Corp. announced today that Viagra will soon be available in liquid form, and will be marketed by Pepsi Cola as a power beverage suitable for use as a mixer. It will now be possible for a man to literally pour himself a stiff one. Obviously we can no longer call this a soft drink, and it gives new meaning to the names of "cocktails", "highballs" and just a good old-fashioned "stiff drink". Pepsi will market the new concoction by the name of: MOUNT & DO.

Thought for the day: There is more money being spent on breast implants and Viagra today than on Alzheimer's research. This means that by 2040, there should be a large elderly population with perky boobs and huge erections and absolutely no recollection of what to do with them.

(Click on the picture to enlarge!) *giggle*

I have heard this is a wonder drug for many people. If you are one of those people, I am glad for you and I hope you do not take offense in this post. It was an email I received and thought it to be humorous.

Happy Hiney!!!!

I know that most likely this will not sound very exciting to you, but it is to me.
I got a new chair at work!
We have the absolute most uncomfortable chairs at work. For the last three years, my back and legs have felt tortured from the discomfort.
I bet you would have never guessed that a chair could bring me such great joy and pleasure.
It is the most comfortable office chair I have ever had. It is "ergonomically" correct for my body!
The material is a sturdy cloth but seems to have the tiniest bit of stretch to it.
The seat cushion is made with a memory foam, but it is dense so I don't sink...it is just pure comfort. It can slide back or move forward, tilt down or up and it can be lowered or raised.
The arms can move inward or outward and up and down.
The armpads can angle inward or outward and tilt up and down.
The seatback can move up and down, front to back and it can tilt backwards until I am almost reclining.
It also has a lumbar pump!

Take a look at my $800 chair! $800!!! That is unbelievable to me.

So now you can actually see where my hiney rests all day long throughout the week!
Happy hiney!!!

haha *giggle*

What is your daily hiney-resting work spot like?

Have a great day!
