It has been a long week!

Well, I have almost finished my Christmas shopping!
It has been a long week for me.
Last week, I had a sore throat.

Saturday, after shopping all afternoon, I was in an accident on my way home.
Fortunately, no one was injured. Unfortunately, my car was.
It is not too bad considering I was hit from behind by a Jeep Cherokee. The jeep is much bigger than my car. His front bumper was just enough higher than my back bumper that it cracked the center top portion of my bumper (where his front plate went through). We were both sitting at a red light. When the turn lane arrow changed to green, he hit the gas (even though we were in the lane to go straight with a red light). We both got out of our cars and he immediately said "Oh I am so sorry, are you ok?" I said, "yes, are you?" We are both fine.
I got the estimate today... $1200. That does not include the amount for a rental car for 3 days. At least no one was hurt.

Sunday night, my sore throat turned into bronchitis.
I missed work yesterday and went to the doctor.
Hopefully the medicine will kick in soon.
I think it was about 3 years ago, I had pneumonia on Christmas.
I am glad it is not that bad.

So, I think I will sit down and relax by the fire tonight.
I thought I would build one for all of you.
Hope you enjoy!

It makes for a nice wallpaper! :)

Have a good night!

sorry your weekend sucked!

once a long time ago I was the person that ran into the back of someone at a light after we were both stopped. I felt so stupid!

Happy once again that I don't drive! Hope you get well before Xmas, Lee Ann! Hotboy p.s. I was wondering in my blog just before I got here if you'd ever been on a bus, funnily enough. I know you said you'd never been on a train. Have you ever been on a tram? Maybe they don't have trams where you are. It's a bus on rails. Sorry! Of course, you'll know about trams. They have them in San Franscisco.

Hey girl! Sorry you were feeling sick, hopefully it's all gone by now or at least in time for Christmas. I always seem to get sick around Christmas... I wonder...

A good shot of Kentucky Bourbon, along with the fire, will help knockout the bronchitis! That fireplace looks exactly like the one at my ranch, complete with the mesh screen.

Peace and hugs to you Babygirl Ima hope you recover soon.

Jiggs ~ Thanks Jiggsy. I think that kind of accident must happen to more people than we realize.

gkw ~ That stinks.
I love fires, I wish it would be cold enough every night for the next couple of months to have a nice fire.

Hotboy ~ Thank you. I have been on a bus before. As far as a tram...I have been on a tram in the Atlanta and Orlando airports, but never one on the open street.

Seamus ~ Thank you. I think that sounds like a good idea!

Becky ~ Thanks! I know, I hate being sick, especially during the holidays.

Rasta ~ Oh, sounds like a treatment I will have to try! Thank you.
peace and hugs from babygirl

Americans have trams inside their airports?

Hope that's the end of your run of bad luck. That's quite a new car, isn't it? Lucky the other driver was decent about it.

Like you said, at least no one was hurt. At least he was apologetic for hitting you.
