Cold and almost bare!

Carsley tagged me!
Here is what is in my "fridge" right now. I know, it is almost bare, but there are some essentials in there.
So, while you are in there looking around, feel free to ask if you can't find something!

I am supposed to tag five people.
This one is easy, so let's see....
1. Neo
2. Jef
3. Becky
4. Roboshrub
5. Aliecat

I hope everyone will play. Just let me know when you have posted your picture, then tag five others.

Now, let's do a shot! Does anyone have any limes?

Merry Christmas!

Thanks for tagging me! I'll post it on Monday when I get my digicam!

Lee Ann said...

Eric ~ Hey! Thank you for stopping by! Haha, I think there is cookie dough in the back on the bottom left (don't think you can see it). I think what you are looking at is the hot sausage for breakfast burritos!
Yes, cool whip goes with anything..... ;) I hope you will come by more often.
Merry Christmas!

Alie ~ Oh good, I am looking forward to seeing what is in your fridge. Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas Lee Ann. Do I see Sweet Tea in your fridge? I love Sweet Tea.

Lee Ann said...

Int ~ Oh yes, definitely sweet tea! We southerners cannot go without sweet tea!
Have a Merry Christmas!

I could pretty much repost your pic for my fridge. Happy Holidays! Merry Christmas--from the part of me that celebrates Christmas.

Lee Ann said...

Angel ~ That is funny! Well, I think we decided in one of your previous posts that we could be twins! haha
Merry Christmas to the part of you that celebrates Christmas! ;)

Ah yes, chocolate syrup, sweet tea and cool whip.... looks like you have the essentials alright!

Have a very Merry Christmas... and check out the garden for holiday eating tips when you get a chance.

Lee Ann said...

Ellen ~ Ahhhh! Another southerner, knows the importance of sweet tea!
haha
I will definitely be stopping by the garden for the tips.
(I was going to tag you for this, but to tell you the truth....I didn't want my little "bare" fridge to look so pathetic next to yours. I know what you do for a living! :)
Have a very Merry Christmas!

Oh, Lee Ann.... if you only knew what my refrigerator looks like: empty enough to want to eat out every night, as I don't have time to shop for myself. I had to send my son to the store for me today, as we are out of milk. Even the tea jug is almost out... and I'm too lazy today to want to cook for anybody. We do have a wedding on the 26th (yep, the day after Christmas) so we have some lasagnas ready for that, but they are at my commercial kitchen, not home with me. Only too glad that December is quieting down a bit so I can concentrate on Christmas dinner (lobster, crown rack of lamb and shrimp cocktail... all compliments of local vendors, hooray!)

Lee Ann said...

Ellen ~ Good for you! I know most chefs don't like to cook at home. I am glad you are getting to relax a little before your big job the day after Christmas.
Wow, enjoy your lobster, lamb and shrimp cocktail....sounds scrumptious ;)

Lee Ann said...

Jef ~ Oh, yes, I am ready for the midnight raid. I have my eye on that chocolate pudding! You can tell that you have a family. My poor little fridge is nearly bare, but it is just me!

Brooks Brown said...

yo lee ann baby!

where's the beers?

oops...i see someome already asked that.

i keep 'em in the crisper.

Lee Ann said...

Brooks ~ What I wish I had in there was a couple bottles of nice wine.
Hope you have a very happy holiday Brooks!

Okay Carsley ~
Top shelf ~Mountain dew, and Diet Dr. Pepper ~ are sodas (soft drinks). Sweet tea is like hot tea, except it is cold with sugar added while brewing it. Then apple juice, skim milk, tequila (you do know that one, right?) Hershey's chocolate syrup, and Kraft caramel syrup...(those are good for ice cream, or anything else you might fancy!;)
Then on the 2nd shelf ~ Roasted chicken, cranberry sauce, green olives, butter, eggs and cool whip (whipping cream in a tub, really good on pumpkin pie...or anything else you might fancy! ;)
On the bottom shelf ~ little cherry tomatoes, green bell pepper, ground sausage, picante' sauce, celery, carrots, potatoes, and in the very back, you cannot see....chocolate chip cookie dough!
Breakfast burritos are a mixture of fluffy scrambled eggs with good cheddar cheese, browned hot sausage on a flour tortilla topped with picante' sauce.
Hope that helps....Oh there is a prize involved???? ;)

LA - your picture is way ahead of the competition. Just a couple of questions.

What kind of wine would you choose?

And if it's not a personal question, could you clarify what you do with Jimmy Dean in a tube, and whipped butter?

Happy Christmas to you and yours.

PS I liked the temperature control setting - very balanced, very middle child.

Lee Ann said...

Rob ~ Haha, you are funny!
Well, for the chilled wines, I enjoy a nice Chardonnay...for every day, maybe Kendall Jackson, and a blush...a nice White Zinfandel.
For my reds...for every day, Clos du Bois Red Zinfandel or a nice Merlot. I am not a connoisseur by any means.
The Jimmy Dean is ground Hot Sausage, for breakfast burritos.
The whipped cream is for pumpkin pie. There are many uses for the whipped cream ~ very good with strawberries;)
Haha, the temperature control, not too many people would notice that. I would, you would, hmmm... we have some very similar tendancies!

Lee Ann said...

Carsley ~ Picante' sauce is tomatoes, chilis, onions, peppers, and cilantro. It is like salsa...used mostly in Mexican food.
Yes, of course I sleep, and sweetly I might add... *giggle*
why?

LA - sorry, I seem to have kicked off an avalanche of interrogation from the Southern Hemisphere.

Nevertheless:

Exhibit A - Kraft Whipped Cream

May I draw your attention to Exhibit B, two tubs of Land Lakes Whipped BUTTER?

I can't really speak for Carsey, but I think he was suggesting you can't possibly have time to sleep, as your blog seems to be on the go 24 hours.

Merlot can be lovely. It's my aunt's favourite (yes that aunt).

I'm not a white wine connoisseur (I have been known to use Chardonnay to clean windows), and I wouldn't know a Zinfandfel from a falafel, maybe it's an American grape. But I love German whites.

Happy fridgey Christmas!

Lee Ann said...

Carsley ~ My "giggles" are little bashful laughs!
No I have not heard of Bonaparte's Retreat. Please tell me about it. What brings that up?

Rob ~ Oh, the butter. That is used on toast, or in cooking ~ over a hot vegetable like asparagus, green beans, broccoli or on baked potatoes or corn. (like margarine but better).
Oh, blog running 24 hours? I think it may seem that way, because of the different time zones.
Ummmm, I would like to try those German wines sometime. The white zinfandel is a blush wine that is tenderly sweet. I especially love that wine with spicy chinese food.

Lee Ann said...

Hey Jiggs, I have missed you.
Merry Christmas to you!
