Twice. The only parts I remember were smoking in the dark in the big tent, and lifting the flap to pee without going outside. And in the middle of one night, camping in the New Forest, a herd of wild horses trampled through our camp, right over some of the tents.
So you can probably imagine my answer to your horses question.
