I know that most likely this will not sound very exciting to you, but it is to me.
I got a new chair at work!
We have the absolute most uncomfortable chairs at work. For the last three years, my back and legs have felt tortured from the discomfort.
I bet you would have never guessed that a chair could bring me such great joy and pleasure.
It is the most comfortable office chair I have ever had. It is "ergonomically" correct for my body!
The material is a sturdy cloth but seems to have the tiniest bit of stretch to it.
The seat cushion is made with a memory foam, but it is dense so I don't sink...it is just pure comfort. It can slide back or move forward, tilt down or up and it can be lowered or raised.
The arms can move inward or outward and up and down.
The armpads can angle inward or outward and tilt up and down.
The seatback can move up and down, front to back and it can tilt backwards until I am almost reclining.
It also has a lumbar pump!
Take a look at my $800 chair! $800!!! That is unbelievable to me.
(click on the photo to enlarge)
So now you can actually see where my hiney rests all day long throughout the week!
Happy hiney!!!
haha *giggle*
What is your daily hiney-resting work spot like?
Have a great day!

I do alot of moving all day at work...I hardly ever get to sit..So my hiney is in good shape..needs rest
Rebecca ~ That is exactly why I go work out after work everyday...must keep that hiney in shape too, that makes it extra happy!
I am so jealous!! I need a new chair so badly but I just can't seem to force myself to invest in it. (And yes, it's an investment.)
I never underestimate comfort
$88! Dang!
Happy Hiney!! I like getting anything new. New stuff excites me too, no matter what it is--even pens!!
A friend of mine had an automobile Reccarro seat made into an office chair. He said it took some getting used to but after awhile it was cool! Congratulations! Your boss must like you!!!
Your chair looks very comfy! My chair isn't too shabby either...my tush is happy! (Did I really just say that?)
Sweet memory foam...
That chair...
So beautiful...
Your happy hiney is of utmost importance! Of course, we'd like to be seeing that happy hiney...
nothing says comfort like an $800 dollar chair...Congrats!
My chair is comfy enough, but the floor in our office is slightly sloped (and slippery hardwood) so every time I sit down, I feel like Dr. Evil because I slide all the way back to my cubicle wall.
Tell you what you may never know how important to me your hiney's comfort is!! I'm a happy bunny I'm going to work now with lee anns hiney on my mind!
Just like yesterday, and the day before and last week!!!
BTW I'm on my feet all day so that's why the nail polish!!
My butt lies in bed all day (but it works all night). Three guesses what I do...and no, I'm not a lady of the night......
I spend a few hours every day spinning around in my chair.
Okay, this has inspired me to post a picture of my own office chair. I don't know what is so fascinating about my chair - it's not as cool as yours (and about 25 percent of the price) but hey, it's an entry. These days it's a struggle just to find shit to post!
LOL
Hey Heather! I thought you left blogland...so glad to see you!
I too need a new chair at home, but with the cost, I usually find something else to spend it on! I wish I could use my new work chair at home! ;)
Just a toy ~ I know we are in total agreement there!
lecram ~ I know, pricey, huh!
angel ~ You and I are much alike in many ways and I love getting new pens too. I am very particular about the type of pen I write with. When I find a good one, it brings me great joy!! *giggle*
Michael M~ That sounds really interesting! I would have liked seeing that.
I am lucky in the boss department, couldn't ask for a better one. Our branch is a small peg in a large company and we are almost like family in our office.
Shannon ~ YAY! We have a happy hiney and tush! haha
Gyro ~ Oh the memory couldn't be sweeter! ;) Almost brings a tear to the eye doesn't it!
Os ~ haha...of course you would SO! ;) Thank you, thank you.
John ~ You said it! Woohoo...thanks!
Beck ~ Hmmm...seems like there could be some fun with that! Hardwoods...bet that IS easy to move around! Glad you got a new job (is it still considered a new job?)
EBEZP ~ Awww...thank you so much!. ...hiney on my mind... sounds like it could be a song! Oh, on you feet all day (I DO know how that is.) I used to work a part time - 2nd job at a bookstore. It started off part time, but was almost full time. Having a 2nd "almost fulltime" job on my feet was really hard on them. You need a foot massage! Were those really your painted toes? ;)
Michael ~ So you have a happy hiney during the day too (in bed)!! I know I know!! You are a seaman on the river ~ right Cappy?
jiggs ~ Oh, I love doing that too Jiggsy!
Dave ~ I am glad I could be an inspiration today! haha
Nice ride you have there Lee Ann.
Once they were going to take away a brilliant chair I had because a very fat person broke one sitting down. So they were going to remove all the chairs in the local government area. I wrestled with the jannies, but they got it eventually. Ruined the job. Well done in getting a decent seat! Hotrboy p.s. We don't have hineys here. Initially I thought the post might be about a jewish festival!
Funnily enough, I've just spent about 5 hours on an Aeron
I WANT ONE!
a happy hiney is a good thing to have :)
Andy ~ Hey Andy, good to see you over here. Thank you, I am quite proud of it!
Hotboy ~ When I used to work at the bookstore, they would not let us sit or even lean against the back of the counter. I always felt that we could be way more productive if we had been allowed to at least have a tall stool to lean on while working the cash register!
Oh yeah, you do have a hiney...that is your "backside"!!!! ;)
wdky ~ Oh yes, that is nice! Funny how a good chair can make all the difference while at work!
Boo ~ Happy hiney has to be a healthy thing, right? haha
mke sure u don't fall asleep in your hiney, honey .
$800 bucks? Check the bottom of hiney .
There must be a Swedish massage girl hiding beneath it .
I say!
It is most important to have an ergonomically correct - almost as important as it is for a batsman to take guard correctly, or a bowler to grip the ball by the seam.
A bit muggy here in Kalimbuka, with thunderstorms brewing, but not too hot.
Have an excellent Easter.
MM III
YOUR hiney ALWAYS makes ME happy Hunny!
You know, work chairs are SO important. I went to a Relax The Back store not too long ago, looking at the cool stuff they have. I've been tempted to get one of those chairs you kneel on, but they tell me that they're not good for you either, long term. :-P
HEY! I just saw my link was removed from your list. Whassup with that???
This is actually a big deal. I work in a new division at work, and we have all the old, mis-matched chairs that were in storage. My chair feels like a concrete stoop.
I'm jealous.
Blake
Lee Ann,
Thanks for swinging by The Everglades. I haven't posted there in forever. BUT...
My wife and I started a new blog. Check it out:
http://thekimzeys.blogspot.com
coach ~ Ok, thanks Coach ;)
john ~ I know...it is something else isn't it!? I wish there was a Swedish massage person!! haha
MMIII ~ You are right! It most definitely makes a difference!
We had thunderstorms last night and have had some Spring, almost Summer weather here. However, as of tonight, it is going to cool off for almost a week. We are supposed to get a freeze Friday and Saturday nights! brrrrr
I hope you have an excellent Easter as well!
T ~ Awwww...thank you sweet T. You are a doll.
Saur♥Kraut ~ Oops...my bad, so sorry. I had some technical difficulties, but I fixed it!
I agree, I have sat in one of those kneeling chairs, and it seemed comfortable, but I was wondering how long you could be in one comfortably.
Sorry about the link sweetie!
Blake ~ Hey! I have missed you. It is great seeing you. Too bad they could not start the new division with new chairs. Uggghhh, nothing worse than a concrete stoop to sit on all day long. Sorry sweetie :(
Oh...will definitely check out the new spot! Thnx!
Lee Ann - Hmmmm, I don't think the one at my job is anywhere close in price, but it's pretty comfy. Cheers to your ass. Wait, that doesn't sound right does it?
*giggle*
Peace & Hugs,
- Neo
Today was my last day on my job before moving out of state ... so my hiney doesn't have a home at the moment. :(
No chairs for me at my job. I'm always erect. Well, I mean that I am always standing. ;)
HHNT!
~Him
Is it a penis lumbar pump? LOL!!! My boss got me a new chair and when you learn how much they cost you DO appreciate them tremendously.
~Jef
Happy HNT, where is it? lol
Momtheminx has you linked.
That looks comfy! mine is hard. :P
sweet! Ours are expensive here too. Very comfy :)
Gee Lee ann..is it the chair or your hiney thats popular.....hee hee...my boss needs to get me new shoes..
I'm usually on my feet most of the day. I get sore when I have to sit too long.
You can edit or delete this if you want:
"As long as I have a face, you'll always have a place to sit...."
that looks like one hell of a place to rest your seat.
Neo ~ My @$$ appreciates the toast! *giggle*
Peace & Hugs to you!
Bella ~ OH, where are you moving? Good luck and don't worry, your hiney will have a home soon! ;)
Blissfully Wed ~ Erect...ALL DAY? You must be exhausted at the end of the day! ;)
Jef ~ No silly, a back lumbar pump!! haha
Yeah, see, you know!!
tkkerouac ~ Thanks for stopping! Happy HNT!
Stealth ~ Hmmm...seems like there could be a pun in there...maybe not!
Happy Hiney days to you!
JLee ~ Don't you love it!
Rebecca ~ haha, you are funny. That would be great if he did get you new shoes!
Tim ~ My feet would be sore if I were on them all day!
haha...thanks for the generous offer!
josh ~ Yes...it is a nice rest for my seat! ;)
I'm so happy I was right about somthing this week! Have a great Easter you made me feel better. JW
Josh ~ Thank you, I hope you have a Happy Easter and a great weekend!
