Ahhhh, now that is nice!

Last night the weather turned much cooler than it has been for the previous two weeks.
For some reason, when the temperature outside goes between 60 and 40 degrees, my body cannot acclimate. Once the temperature gets closer to 30 degrees I adjust.
I know, that seems ridiculous but it is true, and I cannot help it.
(So, I actually feel colder when we have 50 degree weather than when we have 35 degree weather).
Last night, I think the fahrenheit** was around 55 degrees when I started getting a chill (deep to the bone).
We built a small fire in the fireplace, which was very nice and warmed up the room quite nicely.
A little later, the temperature was probably close to 45 degrees by now, I headed off to take a shower before getting ready for bed.
The bathroom is at the opposite end of the apartment of where the fireplace is ~ in the living room. As I approached the bathroom, I could feel it ~ the chill started taking over again.
Within minutes, I would be unclothed and ready to jump in the shower, which meant I would have to act quickly to avoid any additional uncomfortable shivering and quivering.
I turned on the water in the shower to let it heat up (what most people would consider exceptionally hot) .
I knew that was my only hope of rescue from the nippiness that had taken over.
The shower was ready, I slipped in and pulled the shower curtain tight to the wall, as to not to let any of the warmth out (or the coolness in).
Ahhhhh!
The flow of hot water rushing down on top of me, I felt the warmth progressively move back into the depth of my body.
As I was standing under the showerhead, I was thinking how nice it would be to have jets of water all the way to the floor. That way I could get the maximum benefit of the warm surging water.
So I have decided, when I get a home of my own,
I want shower jets
and a towel warmer

oh, go ahead and throw in a cup holder!

Wouldn't that be the best shower ever?

** For my friends in Scotland, UK and South Africa
60 degrees Fahrenheit = 15.555553999999999 degrees Celsius
50* F = 9.999998999999999*C
40* F = 4.444444*C
30* F = -1.111111*C

a couple of things:
1- i immediately skipped this post and looked at your boob blog again
2- i can't even think now after seeing your boobs
3- i thought you were going to take today off?

Carl ~ Hey! You are killing me! hahaha
I did take the day off (of work). I am home today, just relaxing (well some laundry and a few other things). I may walk over to our fitness center and do the treadmill a bit (although it doesn't work very well) No, really, it's not the operator (me). I wondered the first two times when I was walking on it ~ it just stopped dead. The third time I got on it, the guy on the eliptical next to me said "I don't think that works too well, it stops you dead in the middle of your workout". I tried it anyway, and after about 7 minutes, it stopped me cold. I was just glad that it wasn't me that couldn't operate the dumb machine. haha

I do the same thing in the shower.. I pull the curtan splash a little water so the curtain will stick to the wall and presto.. until i have to reach out for my towel then i get cold again. and think, "damnit i need to shave again!!"

HAPPY FRISKY FRIDAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Lee Ann said...

kay ray ~ it must be a girl thing that we do that! We should ask the guys if they pull the shower curtain tight to the wall like that! You have a happy Frisky Friday too!

Carl Spackler said...

lee ann...why would you need a cup holder in your shower?

Hotboy said...

Nothing in the world like a great shower. I've only lived in one place with a really good one. They'll have better showers where you are, I bet! Hotboy

Lee Ann said...

Zombie ~ YAY! for pulling the shower curtain all the way closed. You are sweet! It will be ok ;)

Carl ~ Well, I saw it when I was looking for the kind of shower that I would like to have. At first, I thought the same thing you did. Then I thought, well, you never know when you might be in the shower a little longer than you planned and you might get thirsty for something other than shower water! I mean, if you think of it that way, it makes perfect sense don't you think!

Hotboy ~ Yes, nothing like a hot shower on a cold and rainy day, right?

Neo tosses a warm blanky to Lee Ann

Lee Ann -I know how you feel. I caught one of those chills last week. I couldn't stop shaking.

Btw, that fireplace sounds cozy

Lee Ann said...

Neo ~ thanks for the warm blanky, that and warm socks(straight from the dryer) are wonderful!
I love this cooler weather so much, because I love the fireplace. ummmmm....so nice!

Lee Ann said...

Jimi, thank you. The sweater is a very nice weave, light pink in color with a silver zipper. ;)

jiggs said...

I kind of do the opposite thing in the shower. After getting all warm from the water, I like to feel the cool air against my skin. It's refreshing. Like tang. mmmm. gritty orange drink...

Calzone said...

just a box with something that smells like you in it

I could live in the shower. I love it there. I have to see these boobs everyone's gushing about!

We're still hanging in there in the low 70s at night and 80s during the day. Just as long as the hurricanes are gone, I'll take this weather anyday.

Hypersonic said...

That description was...somehow...erotic. I need to lie down now, well do something anyway.

BTW: It was 35°c here today and summer has barely started.

Lee Ann said...

Jiggs, muffin ~ do you have to take a shower again after that because of the gritty orange feeling?

Calzone, baby ~ ok, you got it!

BeckEye ~ YAY! You are back. I didn't realize how much I missed you til you were gone. (you know you were my first "girl" friend blogger- remember the same recurring dream) Hope you had tons of fun in NY! Next time, I want to go!

Fred ~ Yes, I used to live in Orlando, then in Boca Raton (South Florida), I remember how warm it stayed all year long. Hope there are no more hurricanes for the year.

Alistair ~ dang, that is hot! Quick go jump in the cold shower.

Woe is me-I had to convert an old tub with a hose with a showerhead on it. I am NOT a plumber...NOR is it easy to convert an old style bathtub to a shower-All the hardware is oudated. I have to SIT in the stupid thing and hose myself off like a DOG.

DAMMIT!

I am looking for a conversion kit to make a shower stall. Seeing your post jut made me realize that I too really want a decent shower.

I am so deprived!

Bloody HELL!

And I live in Minnesota, so its gonna get cold here soon!

CRAPPITY CRAP!

Anyway, Nice blog!

Lee Ann said...

twolf ~ Hey, thanks for stopping by! Yes, there's nothing like a really good hot shower. Good luck getting it converted, you will have a much longer cold winter if you don't.
Come by again!

Calzone said...

You really want to send me something baby?

mkecurler said...

I love the cold weather. Time to bake bread, drink hearty hearty red wines, snuggling and scarves.

We might get a few traces of snow next week.

BeckEye said...

With any luck, I'll be moving to NY! I was up there for a job interview. I'm remaining cautiously optimistic.

It's so nice to be missed! :)

jiggs said...

No. I enjoy the gritty orange feeling.

Lee Ann said...

Calzone ~ of course but I just need an address ;)

Sabatkes ~ Hey, it has been a long time, how have you been? Snow? I am jealous. I would love to get a good snow here, doubt it will happen though. Ummm...baked bread and red wine, ahhhh! Now that is nice. Stay warm!

Jonathan ~ Hey! Nice of you to stop by. You just can't beat a great shower. I can only hope for a to-the-floor shower jet and a towelwarmer. That really would be the perfect shower. The cup holder would then be needed, because that is all you would want to do (well almost;) Stop by again, ok?

BeckEye ~ Wow a job in the "Big Apple", how awesome would that be? I will be keeping my fingers crossed. And to think I was hoping to get to Pittsburg for a tour sometime. We are sooooo staying friends, ok?
Goodluck, I hope you get it!

Jiggsy ~ I just bet you do! How often during the day do you want to get that gritty orange feeling?

Hotboy said...

Got cold in Scotland today. At least, in my hut! Hotboy

Lee Ann said...

Stay warm Hotboy! How cold does it get there? How long does the winter last?

Box 235. I'm the owner of the biz, so I'll be the only one that gets your present sugar.

I can't stop thinking about you.

Lee Ann said...

ok baby! ;)

Calzone said...

you are a tramp. I adore you

Lee Ann said...

No Calzone, I am a GOOD girl and I adore you too!

BeckEye said...

Thanks for the luck. The tour of Pittsburgh would take about 15 minutes! I'd much rather give a tour of NYC, but I'm sure it would take me a year to figure out where I was going myself! Haven't heard anything yet, but my fingers are permanently crossed.

TastyMcJ said...

-40ºF = -40ºC

Think about that.

Lee Ann said...

tasty ~ Wow, you are right, that is cool!

crallspace said...

Moreso that that, I am looking forward to having a CONSTANT flow of hot water, uninterrupted when the neighbor flushes the toilet.

Lee Ann said...

crallspace ~ That is a drag! I used to live in a place when someone would flush it would get really hot! You are right, constant flow of the temperature that you choose is the best.

Hotboy said...

Lee Ann. The weather in Scotland has gone to hell like everywhere else the last few years. The leaves are off the trees now, but it's just starting to get cold. Stays cold enough for heavy jackets till May. But the winters have been mild. We've been promised a cold one this year, but they always say that. How come it's cold in Alabama? I thought the south was hot all the time.

Lee Ann said...

Hotboy ~ We have always had winter here in Alabama. I don't think it gets as cold as it used to, but during the winter it gets to an average of 40*F~4.4*C to 45*F~7.2*C during the day here in this area.
Once in a while we get some snow, but usually more ice than anything else.
Where I used to live in South Florida, it hardly ever gets cold enough to wear a sweater. It is green and lush all year. Then again, South Florida is very tropical.

Justin ~ Thank you for stopping by! Your dad was in one of the greatest bands ever! Come back by again.

Calzone said...

Its a good thing you live so far away baby. I would so be looking in your windows tonight

Lee Ann said...

calzone ~ Ooooh baby, just to think, I just now closed my blinds because I thought someone was looking in. Baby, one time when I lived in Houston, I had fallen asleep on my loveseat. I woke up feeling like someone was looking at me. (I lived in an apt. on ground level). Someone was staring at me over my privacy fence on my patio. Baby, you don't know how much that scared me. I went to the sliding glass door to close the blinds(while saying something to him-which I can't remember). He took off when I got close to the door. Just tell me before you do that baby, so I won't be scared, ok?

Calzone said...

I'm sorry baby. I promise. Now I feel bad. Oh hey, let me know when my package is coming yo...brian@barreviewme.com. I stole his password.

Lee Ann said...

Oh baby, I will be sending it sometime this week! I want it to be a surprise:)

Calzone said...

You are such a bad girl Lee Ann

Lee Ann said...

No baby, GOOD girl! I promise baby!

Spinning Girl said...

I know what would warm you up. A golden shower.

Dave Morris said...

Yeah a golden shower would be fine, but it would only warm you up to 98.6 degrees fahrenheit.

Spinning Girl said...

Well, technically, on its passage through the human urethra, the urine cools down somewhat so it would be hitting your face at like...90 degrees. Then by the time it warms your core, you're talking like a 2 degree increase.

Calzone said...

yeah. lets all piss on each other.

Calzone said...

I'm not joking. Lee Ann, Spinning, Dave, what do you all have going on tomorrow? I'm free all day.

Dave Morris said...

Yes, but the NET increase in body temperature isn't as beneficial as the warm feeling it gives you knowing that you're reusing your internal energy to warm yourself.

The fact that you're using your own piss is really circumstantial.

I wonder what the mean body temperature of a dragon is? Not that I really want to know. I'm just saying.

Spinning Girl said...

Even more warming is the fact that I'm being being objectified so very thoroughly. It's every girl's dream! Every girl's wet dream.

Dave Morris said...

Stand in line, Spinner. We're talking about pissing on Lee Ann here.

But since you're here, SG... what are you wearing right now? And type it like you know I like it... nice and slow and with italics.

Calzone said...

Yeah spinning you, me and dave are all pissing on Lee Ann, and me and Dave are spanking your ass while we eat ham sandwiches.

Spinning Girl said...

I love ham. Salty ham.

Dave Morris said...

SG: LEIDERHOSEN, STILLETTOS AND A PUSH UP BRA. After reading your previous comment describing your garb, I wet myself. And yes, THAT kind of wet.

Calzone, I'm in... do you have any Grey Poupon?

Spinning Girl said...

Oh yeah, you're in, all right. Damn, are you in.

Dave Morris said...

Careful, SG. I know how salt makes you choke.

Spinning Girl said...

::cough::

Calzone said...

dude..spinning girls choking on ham while we piss on Lee Ann. this is so fucking hot.

Spinning Girl said...

Thank you sir, may I have another?

Calzone said...

Are you telling me Dave left?? We are peeing on Lee Ann and spanking Spinning girl while she chokes on ham sammy's and he LEFT????

This is every dudes fantasy.

Dave Morris said...

SG, yes you may have another. Just give me about 20 minutes.

Calzone said...

I knew he couldn't leave

Dave Morris said...

'Zone, would a general leave his troops in the heat of battle? Would a teacher take a day off when she knew she had a test? And would I leave you to fend for youself with two sopping vixens in desperate need of pee and ass beatings??

What kind of FRIEND would I be?

Lee Ann said...

Wow, you wouldn't believe how much warmer I feel now!

Lee Ann said...

Spinning, you ok? Guys, stop spanking her till she catches her breath!

onan the bavarian said...

Calzone - I know I'm not invited to the party, but have one on me.

HB - I'm guessing that one place was in Australia.

LA - have you no friends in the Indian Ocean at all?

Coincidentally, down here it got suddenly colder on Friday too, after a very hot period. Yet it's summer here. Only some kind of solar flare or new-fangled terrorism could cause a global effect like that.

Those lateral blasting water jets. Don't thay cause problems when you drop the soap?

Finally, as I have told hotboy before, the easy path to bliss lies via alternating hot and cold showers. You may scream for the first minute or two (quite therapeutic in itself), but then your body loses track of the difference between hot and cold, and the bliss sets in, lasting for hours afterwards.

Spinning Girl said...

I hear a spanking sound, but it isn't me.

Calzone said...

I so have to crash out.. later dudes.

Lee Ann said...

Rob ~ No, I wish I did have friends in the Indian Ocean. It would be cool to have a friend in every part of the world, wouldn't it? I don't know about those lateral blasting jets in the shower. I guess you would have to be careful if you drop the soap. My dad used to do that....take hot showers and end them on straight cold water. I remember hearing the shrill from the bathroom! hehehe

Spinning, what's happening, I hear it too?

Lee Ann said...

Night baby, sweet dreams!

Dave Morris said...

Alright I'm tired, satiated and completely out of urine. I need to towel off and hit the bricks. Lee Ann, I hate to leave you to clean up the mess but... I know you'll understand. And let's face it, you were the primary beneficiary here.

SG, I know you won't sleep on your back for a week with those red hand-shaped welts on that sweet, sweet ass.

Lee Ann said...

Night Guys! I will have you back for another party at the Castle soon. Sleep tight!
