Watch on the condition the hair bits of advice. I have a close family member who owns a hair salon, and she assures me that they are inferior to any hair products out there, even the $2 a bottle products. Your hair looks too nice to mess up.

Not that I've tried it or anything, but the reason mayo works with lice is because it suffocates them, but you still need the shampoo to kill the eggs. Also, one more for your list, if you have static-y hair, take a bounce sheet and rub it lighty over your head and Voila, no more flyaways. Same effect if you spray static-gard onto your brush.

I've got two more for you:

Bee stings: use a wet teabag and cover area, or wet tobacco from a cigarette.

Milk: neutrilizes any spicy food that's burning your tongue... never use water as it only makes it worse.

Love your list! I learned a lot of new things.

Justice ~ haha, you just never know! ;)

Carl ~ See, even more uses than what you thought you could use them for!!!!

Jef ~ That is so cool. My sister-in-law made some playdoh when I was at her house last weekend. I had never heard of that before. It is so cool!

Zombie ~ I do try to learn something new everyday. Sometimes it is frivolous, like this list, but nevertheless!

Dave ~ I told you I wouldn't tell your secret! When I make a promise, I keep it for real! You didn't have to come clean here baby.

Goan ~ I know, that koolaid stuff is scary, huh? Let me know how your experimenting goes!

Kay Ray ~ I am all for a home remedy that works. Let me know if any of these REALLY work.

Saurkraut ~ Thank you, you are sweet(not saur....hehe, couldn't resist). I know what you are saying is true. I doubt I would try any kind of home remedy on my hair.

aliecat ~ Hey! Thank you for stopping by. That makes sense about the mayo. It is amazing what a little bounce can do! Thanks for the tip. Come back by again.

ellen ~ Aw, two very good tips, thanks. I hope I never have to try the tabacco/tea bag for a bee sting...I am a little allergic, I hate bee stings. I will definitely try the milk with spicy foods. Cool! ;)

Lee Ann - Ah! You already answered my question about the self tests. ;)

I like the one about vinegar to remove dandruff. You might get rid of your dandruff, but your head will smell bad.

Calzone said...

Baby, now that I know you have fleas I'm more turned on then ever.

Great tips, thank you. I have already tried the tea hair conditioner. I can also recommend fresh white bread for marks on non-washable wallpaper, and stale bread for lipstick stains on clothes.

Is there anything that preparation H can't fix? I'm going to try it on my bum, I'll let you know the result.

Lee Ann said...

Hey Neo!...oh, ok!

Jiggs...you have me laughing again...literally! (and you are soooo right)

Calzone....baby.....you know it doesn't take fleas...

Rob ~ lipstick stains! hmmm, so you are an expert at getting those out huh? ;) good! I'm sorry if you are having bum problems!

Calzone said...

I know people can be good and also...I just have a lot of fun with you baby. I don't embarass you do I?

Just making sure sugar.

Lee Ann said...

Oh, I like it when you make sure baby!

jiggs said...

I'm jealous of Calzone. He gets special attention from you Lee Ann. I don't know if I like that or not.

Dave Morris said...

I hate to side with Jiggs, but I can't help it, yo. I see you all callin' Calzone "baby," and it makes me all sad. What is it I need to do... call you baby every time, yo?

Lee Ann said...

Hey Jiggs ~ you are special to me too! I can't have all of you as baby, I respond to him as that because that is what he calls me (ha, all of us)...what would you like? You pick, but it has to be nice Jiggs!

Dave ~ You know that you are the first sweetie...I mean, we have been hanging out the longest right? You name it, ok? You know I dig your sexy radio voice!

Now Calzone, don't get huffy over there...you are still baby, right? (That is what you call all of us, right? So,is that still our thing too?)

I "luv" all of you guys (all of my blogging fellows)

All I know about Budweiser is that it gives me a headache! King of beers my foot.

Lee Ann said...

BeckEye ~ That's a drag! In your case it might be better for your foot. I wonder how it would work as a foot soak?

Calzone said...

These guys have no game at all. I'll see you tomorrow for my foot rub.

Lee Ann said...

nite baby, cya tomorrow!

Dave Morris said...

Time rules. I'm over it... just a temporary misunderstanding I can live with.

haha! Calzone, I've never known a dragon named after an Italian sandwich so I respect ya. But don't dragons have claws, not feet? That's an extra 30 bucks for masseuses and pedicures.

Lee Ann said...

Dave ~ *tear* Don't say you are over it! You are my first sweetie. Nite, cya tomorrow!

jiggs said...

OK. Calzone has "baby" as a nickname. I think I want "muffin". That is until I change my mind.

Hotboy said...

Budweiser conditions your hair? I wonder who discovered that. Maybe they missed their mouth when they'd had a few. Hotboy

Lee Ann said...

Jiggs ~ I mean muffin, ;) you are a cute muffin!
