Stressed?

How stressed are you?

The pictures attached are used to test the level of stress a person can handle.
One teacher said, "I felt like they were all moving...but slowly. Kind of like, they were breathing."
The slower the pictures move, the better your ability of handling stress.
Alleged criminals that were tested see them spinning around madly; however,
senior citizens and kids see them standing still.
FYI ... None of these images are animated - they are perfectly static!

What if the images talk to you and/or turn into the image of Christ and bleed from their eyes?

friend - that would be simply amazing wouldn't it?

Well, I got really stressed out because I couldn't see any images..and then I realized this wasn't an ink-blot test. I'm fine now.

Yes...I did received it in my mail few days back.

They create the illusion as if they are animated, but in real they are not.

Good one!!

Huh oh. Maybe it's best no one comes near me until they stop spinnig that fast.

I am not kidding, they are turning.

Should I call someone about this?

No? Good.

You know, I didn't think I could handle stress well, but they are moving pertty slow so I guess I am alright...That was cool! Thanks!

arz000n - thanks! just something fun today!

afp763389 - :)

badgod - no worries, seems the more you look at them, the slower they go. I don't see them move at all.

shawnee - you are cool (and calm)! thanks!

Trippy dude!!! They were moving along slowly, they kinda stressed me out.... hurt my eyes a bit. The second one didn't move but the others did...

Lee Ann said...

carl - sometimes they don't move for me at all. I think they move more with a bigger picture.

rebecca - yeah, made me a little nauseated at first. the longer you look at them, the less they move. (at least for me)

Becky said...

Wahhhh, Now i've got a killer head ache.... That can't be good!

Lee Ann said...

sorry rebecca! Maybe that is why my head has been hurting so much the last couple of days!

I sat staring for 15 minutes and they kept speeding up. Then I realized they were speeding up because I was getting stressed because I was spending so much time looking at them and then they REALLY started spinning as I started thinking about how much time I had wasted up until that moment and all the things I needed to do, then they spun so fast they began blurring and I thought wow, shit, I'm really stressed, then started stressing about how stressed I was, then the pictures disappeared like a fan blade that is turned on "high" and I passed out.

dave - OMG! I am ROTFLMAO!!!! I am at work, and I am sure the people around me are wondering why I am laughing like this by myself. Sorry! Didn't mean to stress you out! still laughing.....

That was extremely cool and interesting!

I am sending these to people!

Lee Ann said...

mojo - if you look at them too long, they make you sick to your stomach! Be careful :)

Trippy images Lee Ann, kind of gently undulating, like a slow hula dance... like, totally groovy...

saurav said...

Its amazing ...
I also feel that they are moving but very slowly.....

very interesting. as i continued to stare at them i thought i saw the trix rabbit there for just a second. kidding. mine were all breathing and spinning peacefully so I must be handling the stress pretty well and have added bonus of not falling under the criminal category -- what a relief!

s l o w l y . . . I can stop them too so long as I don't allow myself to notice they've stopped. Must be all that meditation over the years.

Ah Ticharu - I thought you would like them :)

avik - If I look at them early in the day they are almost standing still, but the more tired I am, they seem to take on a little more movement.

echeevo72 - haha, trix are for kids! They sort of give you a headache if you look too long.

RCS - yeah, I think that is a big part of it, as long as you don't notice you have made them stop! The bottom one makes me queasy if it is even slightly moving.

Fred said...

They moved only slightly for me. Does that mean I'm sane?

Lee Ann said...

fred - I am really curious if they truly move fast for anyone. It is interesting how your eyes see them.

Drew said...

hmmm...don't really seem to move at all unless I look away a bit. Strange...I'm qutting cigarettes right now too, 48 hours into it. Guess meditation really works. Nice blog btw.
