Once upon a time, there was a Princess that was happy and content in her life. She had a curiosity and eagerness for learning. She wanted to meet new people and go new places. She still lives happily ever after in The Land of Blog...far, far away.

Neat pics, there is a shop here in town that sells that type of art, pretty neat stuff.
iggyfroggy ~ Hey, thanks for stopping by. I appreciate your comments.
Dave ~ Yes, I do get tired of the spam, but I am trying to hold off on word verification. It's an extra step I am trying to avoid for all of you.
I used to have Escher's Relativity 1953 hanging on my wall when I was in college. I have always had a fascination with his work.
Fred ~ Glad you found your nail clippers. Can I borrow them?
Dear Lee Ann,
I hope you had a wonderful birthday yesterday.
I will ask Doviko if he has a good recipe for a birthday cake.
MM III
Menzies ~ Yes, I had a very nice birthday yesterday, thank you very much. I even had a little chocolate birthday cake myself. It was very delicious:)
I love Escher.
Groooooooooooooovy.
those would make some great full size decorations for a room
lee ann getting deIllusional?
lol
Nice pics. Where are they from?
Hey - there's another fred up there. He copied my name!
Spinning girl ~ I know, you can't help but think the work is interesting if nothing else.
Beckeye ~ yeah, it's pretty "far out"!
Carl ~ The full sized ones do look pretty good. I was telling Dave, I used to have Escher's Relativity hanging on my wall when I was in college. I have seen his calendar which is also pretty cool.
Mojo ~ haha, do you remember Styx ~ Grand Illusion tour? You just made me think of that.
Fred ~ Those are some of the works of M.C. Escher. His works are on the odd side, mostly optical illusions. I did see the other Fred. Did you happen to find his nail clippers? :)
I like the hands the best...
And by the way, HAPPY BIRTHDAY! Sorry I missed it yesterday...
Alecia
Alecia ~ I like the hands too! Thank you very much, I had a really nice birthday.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY LEE ANN
I hope you got some nice presents, cake and a good dinner. Those images are by M.C. Esher. I love his work. I liked your list of songs and am definitely with you on Blue Oyster Cult, Maroon 5, AC/DC and The Killers. I saw a really great show on VH1 called "Behind the album" (or something similar) and it was all about AC/DC's "Back in Black", how it was made and how it came to be such a classic. I think you would have liked it.
Echeevo72 ~ Thank you so much! Yes, I did get some nice presents and all the trimmings. My boyfriend gave me the cutest little cake (it is the size of the top layer of a wedding cake). It is decorated so pretty.
I am sure I would have liked the show about ACDC. Maybe it will be on again sometime. Thank you again.
Justice ~ yeah, kinda strange, huh?
awesome pictures... nice post...
Avik ~ Hello! Thank you.
Yes I do remember that tour! < great styx fan < more so when I found that tommy shaw was a montgomerian!
I've collected Escher since I was in high school. I still have a few of my favorites hanging in my family room. Nice to see I'm not alone!
