I need you!

I need you! All of you!

....

....

....

........I need you to keep me motivated.
I have joined Gold's gym and started yesterday with a personal trainer.
HE KICKED MY BUTT!!!!
Oh my gosh, I hurt all over.
I worked so hard, I felt like I was going to be sick right on the treadmill.
After the workout was over, I stumbled to my car in a daze. I was thinking, oh yuck, this is hard and I don't feel good.
I know, I know, it is only the first day!
The trainer said he could "change my life in 90 days". Ok, that got my attention...that would be awesome.
Anyway, please, please give me the love and encouragement I need.
I know I have to do it for myself, but it sure helps to get the nudge from the ones I care about.
I will be on my own at the gym today, but back with the trainer at 5pm tomorrow and again on Friday!
So, please! I need you.

Thanks!
~hugs to all

Good luck. I joined a gym yesterday too. It's a smaller gym. I'm not sure if they have a trainer. But I wanted to do the tae bo class two times a week. Yesterday I rode the stationary bike for 20 minutes and did the treadmill for 20 minutes. I also did that machine for abs--50 sit-ups.
I'll keep you motivated. And you do the same for me!!!

More Power to you Lee Ann. I have no wonderful words of wisdom, just, hang in there. You'll be rewarded.

Good luck!
I've been working out for years and some days I still don't feel like doing it.

Lee Ann said...

AI ~ Thank you, I will!

Andy ~ Gosh, I was hoping that I would get past the stage of not wanting to do it. The trainer told me I have to look at it like a 2nd job, and I have to be there and do it.
He is right!

You're gonna kick all ass Lee Ann! Don't you take any guff, if they say you can't do it prove them wrong, and if you think you can't go on, you prove you wrong girl! I know you can do it!

This reminds me, I need to go and try to fulfill my dream of becoming a female boxer....

Lee Ann said...

Becky ~ Thanks, you rock! You should be a trainer...I can do it!

If anybody's got the spirit to do it, you do. Kick butt... even if it's your own!
Wishing you all the success you deserve!

Ellen ~ You are awesome. Thank you so much, you are a great friend.

You go girl....nice thing...instead of encouraging you...I thank you for encouraging me to go back to a gym that I have been to 3 times but never registered.
I say u must be encouraged by the fact that you encouraged someone else.

Lee Ann said...

Goan ~ Oh wonderful....let's all go, that makes me feel good! Thank you, you are an encouragement. Go, go, go for you too! ;)

L-A, L-A, She's our girl!
On the treadmill, gonna hurl...
Lifting weights & running fast,
Gonna tighten up that...butt!

Sorry. I flunked cheerleading. Probably a good thing, too. Who'd wanna see a cheerleader with a photoshopped goatee and dark glasses in a skirt?

Best of luck on the work-outs! I'll send good karmic vibes your way... ;)

I feel no pity for you, i have a trainer of my own. I hate the guy, I can't figure out for the life of me why I pay him to torture me.

Do what you need to do! Go get 'em honey, stay with it! (I assume those are the things you REALLY wanted to hear)

Stay with it Lee Ann. The first few days are the hardest and the toughest time to stay motivated. I would say that you will definitely feel better much sooner than 90 days out. Once you get past the initial soreness (that will be over soon, if you keep at it, you won't feel that kind of pain again) you'll be amazed at how fast your body will respond. The hardest thing about any exercise regiment is discipline - doing it even when you don't want to.
Keeping mentally strong is the most important part!

Good Luck,

~Mike

You're asking the wrong person. I don't think you need it, it sounds horrid, and I hate exercise. I walk, and will probably be joining a gym this week; but it will be one of those gyms with a 30-min workout. None of that intensive crap for ME unless I'm having FUN. Sorry I can't be encouraging; I'm plagued with honesty.

Whatever you do, don't change your booty, lee ann. I'm a firm believer in that baby got back song.

If you are in shape you are less likely to develope debilitating diseases, more likely to recover from severe illness, less prone to injury and more likely to prevail/escape from an attacker.
You will have more energy for blogging and generally have great opinion of yourself. Your mind will function more clearly.
Then you will be able to mix cob for me this summer and you won't die!

Wolfie - I have to admire your chat-up technique. I've never heard of a "waste band", is it like a diaper?

Lee Ann - it's quite common to feel unwell immediately after extreme exercise, so if that's what you experienced I can recommend "warming down" at the end with some gentle exercise like walking or stretching.

I would avoid going to the gym two days in succession - muscles need to recover and repair, so give them a day off if you want to avoid injury.

Good luck.

Lee Ann said...

Cappy ~ Yeah, I have to stay away from donuts!

Tich ~ You are absolutely right! What is cob?

Rob ~ Oh, thank you so much for all the tips!

jiggs said...

you can do sidebends or situps, but please don't lose that back.

Lee Ann said...

Jiggs ~ You are so sweet. I doubt I will lose it. You will be getting a different view of the backside on Thursday ;)

Neo said...

Lee Ann - Ok, here's motivation. If you complete your 90 days. I'll do a song on JBI for you. Deal?

;)

Peace & Hugs,

- Neo

Neo ~ Ok, DEFINITELY! You are so sweet!

Thank you guys for all of the encouragement and reasoning! I love all of you.

I am sorry that I did not get to visit all of you today.Things are just not routine right now, so until I get used to my new schedule, I will try to visit. I haven't forgotten about any of you, you are all great.
