See, there is some slight "southerness" to me, just like my accent!
I hope you have a great Monday and a great week!
Once upon a time, there was a Princess that was happy and content in her life. She had a curiosity and eagerness for learning. She wanted to meet new people and go new places. She still lives happily ever after in The Land of Blog...far, far away.

LOL, WoW! In Alabama and you're more yankee than Dixie! Still love you!
Mine was 65% general English, 20% yankee and 10% dixie, which i don't think quite adds up to 100% so where is the other five?
I'm from the freaking Midwest and I speak better English than you. Hahah.
I have a weird accent because my dad woun'dn't let me speak Philly like all the other kids I grew up with. I think it's average, or "Hollywood". Basically I sound like most of the people you see on tv.

Have a great day Lee Ann!
Hi Lee Ann,
It's been awhile.I started a new
career as a Nurse(what was I thinking?)but it's been rewarding
so far.Hope every little thing in
your life is going well.
I'm definitely mixed between
Yankee and general despite
being a Southern Floridian
for 29 years.The 13 years in
NY hasn't really left me all
that much ;)

And I've lived here all my life!
Jef ~ Oh, great to see you! I was thinking about you just the other day. Yes, I have lived around yankees for a good part of my life!
Thanks for stopping by!
Becky ~ I know....I am an Alabama girl with just an ever so slight southerness to me. I would guess from living in Houston, TX, Boca Raton, FL and Upper Saddle River, NJ that some of that yankee stuff stuck with me! I am a belle at heart! ;) Love you too!
Angel ~ Looks like you are missing a little....that must be your hidden language! We have similar results :)
Hippo ~ I love the midwestern accent. I was born in the midwest and I still have several relatives from there. Very nice!
United ~ Hey! I am glad you have stopped by. Isn't that interesting. I understand completely. Even though I live in the South, most people that live here think I sound a little more like I am from the north.
Trucker ~ Showing strong for the South...way to represent! ;)
Mike ~ Oh it is great to see you! I hope your career is going great.
I lived in Boca Raton for 7 years. That is a northern city (even though it is geographically in the south). It is so beautiful down there. Glad you came by, hope to see you over here at the Castle more often.
Andy ~ Wow, I am more Yankee than you. You are from the midwest right? That is a great area.
Shannon ~ Hey girl! I have missed you. It is so good to see you. I knew you had a little southerness in you...must be the belle part!
Saur ~ I know, Florida is more of everything except southern. Houston is like that too. I find that really interesting.

Apparently being on the West Coast I'm as far from Yankee as you can get.
Heather ~ Ah, but I do see a little southern in there! ;)

Wow, mine was like 50% redneck and 50% white girl. I think that thing is broken!

Jiggs ~ I see that! We got similar results though! ;)
I'm all Yankee, and thank god. No offense, y'all.
SG ~ I think I remember that about you! :)

Phats ~ looky there, you are more southern than me! (our yankee and dixie are reversed)
HAPPY BIRTHDAY sweetie!
A kid in San Franscisco asked me once if spoke anything before English, like French. Maybe I'd learned English because I spoke it so funny. Naw, I said, Ah speak urban Scots. If it wisnay fur folk speakin' like me, you'd still be speakin' Cherokee, son! I don't think he understood that either. Hotboy p.s. when talking films started over here, the audiences couldn't understand the American accents. Changed days now!
Hotboy ~ I love the words you use and your accent. I could listen to it all day.
