It's a hot one out there!
It is really hot out there.
Do you guys miss this cold stuff?
I have to be honest, we don't really get it that cold here during the winter....sorry for those of you who do!
Are we glad it is summer time?
I think I enjoy autumn the most. The beautiful colors, cool breezes and brisk mornings.
What is your favorite season?
Try to grab some shade.

those pictures brought up old nightmares..I live in NJ and it does get bad here sometimes. Last winter wasnt to bad but enough for me. I hate snow...I love the heat..bring it on!
That looks a little more appealing than the heat down here. Then again, it's easier to drive in the heat than through snow and ice.
I'll be living in triple digits all week.
Man I wish I could have some of that snow. Tripple digets all week here in the great state of Texas.
I like the fall best and winter the least.
I think I'm an autumn guy. Or spring. I really don't mind the winter cold or snow, until the wind blows, or the sun hasn't shone in weeks at a time. That's when it's unbearable.
when i am with my gf , i like winter
when i'm with my gf and her female friends , i like summer
when i'm with my buddies , i like fall
when i'm alone , i like spring
Those photos are based on a true story.
The story of Defrosty de Snoman.
Summer...ALWAYS summer!
Not quite triple digits here but close enough: 97 degrees, with no rain and no breeze.... and that's in the shade. It's enough to zap the energy out of you if you don't get into an air conditioned place. I still don't see how they managed way back in the day before air!
My perfect life would be to live in the south during the fall to spring, and summer up at Cape Cod, Massachusetts. The south has the best spring, and the north has the best fall, but Atlanta gets a nice enough fall with temperate weather.... easily livable. Actually the winter down here isn't too bad either...no need for a snow shovel. The summers in Atlanta are like living at the gates of hell some days though.
Thanks for the pictures.... they helped to cool me off!
I love the snow pic's LeeAnn!! Thanks I feel cooler already!!
Love those pics but no I dont miis that at all!!
Have a cool day Lee Ann!
I like the Simpsons ice statues. It's cool Duh !
I was so looking forward to summer, and then it winds up being one of the hottest ones yet. Albiet I did move, 500 miles north and it worked too! Up in northern va, it aint nearly so hot as it gets down in SC! I'm sure it's over 100 down there in the deep south!
The heat is killing crops all over. It's a serious drag. We are a tinder box right now here in northern Minnesota. A stray spark could burn down half the state!
i see enough of that white shit for several months. i can fry for a little longer.
medium rare, just the way lee ann likes it!
honkeie ~ I lived in NJ for a while. We had snow, but I guess I was fortunate to not have the severe winter when I lived there.
Jason ~ We are lucky enough to not have to drive in that kind of winter weather. We do get ice, which is scary to drive in for me. I used to live in Houston....Flat, hot, humid! Ugh! I DO remember. I also lived in Palm Beach Florida....not as humid, but hotter than any other place in the US! The sun is SOOOO hot down there!
lecram ~ Scorcher...stay cool Lecram!
myutopia ~ Yes, another southerner! One thing about the south is if your digits are 95-99, the heat index (what it feels like) is 100+.
andy ~ I think I might agree with you. Fall is so beautiful here, I wish everyone could experience it!
Os ~ Oh, I imagine the winters in Montana are brutal!
Shannon ~ Yes, darkness is a true problem for a lot of people. There is a thing called light therapy for that very reason. I saw this being used in Alaska!
I agree...I love every season (especially if there is airconditioning close by in the summer and a nice crackling fire close by in the winter time!)
John ~ Oh, I think I would agree...different situations are better for certain seasons. Fun to look at it that way!
Gyro ~ Oh that snowman was awesome Gyro, thank you for sharing!
T ~ Yes, Minnesota summers are probably very nice! ;)
Ellen ~ Yes, that is one of the things we have to live with in the South, don't we! I would say overall, we are very lucky because we do have a spectacular fall, the spring is breathtaking and winters are mild, so we can bare it through the summer, right?
Kay Ray ~ Hey girl! It is great to see you. I have missed you so much!
Trucker ~ It is a bit extreme isn't it! Thank you Trucker, stay cool too!
Nike ~ I would love to see Cananda some day!
foto ~ Yes, I like that too, very cool!
Becky ~ Yes, the south is HOT that is the truth!
Tich ~ I know, it seems to be dry everywhere lately. The ants were marching into the office today looking for some moisture!
Jams ~ I know your Minnesota winters are harsh. But the medium rare sizzle sounds nice Jams!
Jon ~ I like that too! When I lived in South Florida, I used to go to the beach in late afternoon when it wasn't so HOT....most of the locals were at the beach at that time as well. The fall is almost perfect for the beach!
Thanks for those, they made me feel physically cooler. Honest!
nuns throwing snowballs is hilarious!
Plenty of shade here Lee Ann.
Those are good photos.
honkeie, isn't that tiring after a while? You must be very fit.
It's light after ten at night here at the moment. In December it's dark at four. Hard to credit that just now. My favourite season is Springtime....
Hotboy
The one with the car reminds me of my college days. I used to park my car in November, then dig it out in March. It sometimes looked just like that.
Dave ~ Glad I could help! ;)
Jiggs ~ I know, I thought it was funny too.
Rob ~ You are funny!
Hotboy ~ During the winter it is dark much earlier here too. I think our daylight during the summer is until 8:45 pm.
Fred ~ Oh, that is just TOO cold!
No I don't miss that crap at all!
I hate cold weather, I hate snow, I hate ice, I will take this heat anyday of the week. I am even outside in this all day!
Phats ~ If you had snow like that, I don't blame you!
