A real cotton tail!

This is the view when walking out of the front doors of my office building. Yesterday, I saw something run across the walkway to the garden area on the right (well, left if you are entering the building) of the walkway.

So I rushed over to snap a couple of photos with my phone camera....

So, can you tell what it is?
It had the cutest little white cotton ball tail.
I was amazed at how much the little tail really did look like a cotton ball!

I have seen bunnies in the pet store and possibly at the zoo, but this is the first time I have ever seen one at my office building. The area is a very landscaped, wooded area.
It was a nice surprise.

Happy hump day!
;)

We just got bunnies around my apartment complex within the past year. They seem to like it here. As do the deer. Pretty soon we'll have a full cast for a Disney movie!

I'd be remiss, and you'd be disappointed, if I didn't mention something about your cute little cotton tail...

I'm afraid I went poaching with a dog and ate some rabbits when I was a boy. Skinned them as well! Such peaceful creatures! Hotboy p.s. Taste quite like chicken as I recall

That reminds me, I was driving down the road the other day and had just turned on the road to my house and I saw the cutest little bunny in the road! It was just a little baby bunny too, it was so scared I had to stop my car on the side of the road just to shew it out of harm's way.

You could have sent it to coast to coast and said it was the mythical littlefoot. ;-)

My favorite animal of all time! I just love rabbits; they are the cutest little buggers, aren't they?

One of our neighbors raised them for awhile, and I never had the heart to ask them why... I couldn't bear the thought of the answer being "dinner".

We also have a lot of woodland areas around our office buildings, and many of the animals that used to romp freely are slowly losing losing their homes due to all the construction. I've seen deer, rabbits, and even a wild turkey. Gotta watch out for the turkeys, they like to peck at your tires.

Peace and hugs to you, Babygirl

The last time Rasta saw a cute little cotton tail it was in front of his fine self as "they" walked the trail, lol.

Os ~ I imagine that is so nice to see all of those beautiful animals. We have deer here too.
Awww...thank you..*blushing*

Jiggs ~ Awww...u cute Jiggsy.

Hotboy ~ Ohhhh, ate them? I remember once as a child having a "lucky" rabbit's foot key chain. I think it was green. Now that I look back, I wonder how in the world was that lucky? It was gross.

We don't get bunnies. Just armadillos and raccoons. I hate them - they always dig.

Lee Ann said...

Fred ~ Oh yeah, when I lived in Florida, we had the armadillos and raccoons too! You are right, they did do that.

Last weekend I was riding my bike and in the one patch of shade along that stretch of road, there was a little rabbit trying to stay cool.

Lee Ann said...

MMIII ~ I have never seen an antelope (well, I take that back, I have at the zoo).
I guess it is normal for you to see those beautiful creatures, but it would not happen here.
You are so fortunate to see them and the other wild animals.
Amazing!
